The Great Allegheny Passage, a 150 mile biking and hiking trail connecting Pittsburgh, PA and Cumberland, MD with a 52 mile branch to the Pittsburgh International Airport. This website notes locations along the trail with Latitude/Longitude coordinates, details of the locations and links to maps and satellite imagery.

Coordinates : Latitude, Longitude and descriptions

Submit a waypoint : Add additional coordinates

wotgap.gpx : "Save link as" to download GPX file.
Use GPS Babel to convert the file to whatever format you need for your GPS or mapping software

  • Several things to note: I bicycle the trail so this site as a slight bias towards cycling. When I ride the trail, I ride self-supported so bed & breakfasts, hotels, pay-to-camp campsites and even restaurants are not at the top of my interest list. If you want that information included then use the SUBMIT button and tell me so. Lastly, there are bound to be differences between the coordinates provided by mapping software, Google maps satellite photos and hand-help GPS units. The latitude and longitude may be off by 30 feet or more. But, really, that should be more than accurate enough.
